摘要
中西文化差异和汉英交际中的母语负迁移现象,容易导致语用失误,从而影响交际效果。在汉英翻译中,译者要从传达原文的语用意图和照顾读者的接受能力两个方面入手,采取相应的语用翻译策略,从而达到语用等效。在充分研究语用失误基本理论的基础上,对汉英翻译中常见的语用失误进行了总结归类,分析了语用失误产生的原因,提出了避免语用失误的策略。
The differences between Chinese and English cultures and the negative transfer of mother tongue in Chinese-English communication lead to pragmatic failure and influence the communicative effect. The translator in Chinese-English translation must work from the source text＇ s pragmatic intention and target readers＇ reception capability, and take correct pragmatic translation strategies as to achieve pragmatic e- quivalence. Based on the theories of pragmatic failure, we summarized and classified in this paper the com- mon pragmatic failures in Chinese-English translations, analyzed the reasons for the failure and the strategies to avoid them, and proposed methods of pragmatic translation.
