摘要
以顺应理论为指导框架、以交际语境为视角,研究语用失误。指出语用失误是由于交际的一方或双方在交际中忽视了语言与交际语境诸因素——社交世界、心理世界和物理世界的动态顺应造成的。语言顺应是交际中避免语用失误的一种有效策略,在英语教学中,教师要特别注重培养学生的顺应意识,提高语用能力。
This paper attempts to analyze pragmatic failure from the perspective of adaptation theory with gradients of communicative context. It points out that pragmatic failure occurs when language users unconsciously fail to adapt language to the communicative context, which is composed of social world, mental world and physical world. Adaptation is an effective way to avoid pragmatic failure in communication. It is important to enhance students' pragmatic competence in English teaching, so that they can make conscious and constant adaptation.
