摘要
文化缺省,作为一种普遍存在于文本中的现象,已成为翻译界学者关注的焦点,现在中医翻译界也关注。对《实用中医诊断学》英译本中文化缺省现象翻译实例进行了分析,并对译者所做的补偿方法进行归纳与总结,旨在为今后中医英译文化缺省的翻译补偿提供借鉴和参考。
Cultural default, widely existing in a text, a focus in the field of translation, has aroused general concern in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） translation. In this paper the English translation examples of cultural default in the Practical Diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine were analyzed and the methods of cultural compensation were summed up for the purpose of upgrading future translation of TCM.
