摘要
新词和流行语存在极大的相似性。正是这种相似性造成了二者在一定程度上的混用。从模因理论的角度对二者的存在以及新词演变为流行语的过程的分析,可以得出:研究意义上的新词都应该是成为模因的词语,严格意义上的流行语的前身都应是新词,只有那些由新词发展而来最终纳入一般语言的流行语才能被称为成功模因。
The great similarities between neologisms and buzzwords results in the mixed use of the two to some extent.It can be concluded,according to the analysis of their existence and the process in which neologisms evolve into buzzwords from the perspective of memetic theory,that all neologisms should be memetic words in the research sense,all buzzwords develop from neologisms in a restricted sense,and only those buzzwords that end with involvement into common language use can be called successful memes.
