在种子萌发试验中,低于0.1 m m ol/L的Al3+ 处理对苜蓿种子的萌发无明显的影响,高于0.1 m m ol/L的Al3+ 处理则明显降低种子的发芽数量、速度和质量,降低萌发种子的蛋白酶活性和自由氨基酸的含量,加速种子的电解质外渗。在幼苗生长的试验中,低于0.05m m ol/L的Al3+ 处理对苜蓿幼苗的生长略有促进作用,0.1 m m ol/L的Al3+ 处理对其无明显的影响,高于0.1 m m ol/L的Al3+ 处理明显抑制其生长,加速其根系组织的电解质外渗,降低叶片的叶绿素含量。结果说明,Al3+ 处理影响苜蓿种子的萌发和幼苗的生长,分别与其影响苜蓿种子萌发时主要贮藏物质蛋白质的转化、根细胞膜的选择透性和叶片的光合作用有密切的关系。
Two separate experiments were conducted to investigate the Al 3+ effects on medic seed gemination and seedling growth. In experiments on seed germination, medic (Medicago sativa L.) seeds were soaked for 12 h ours with different Al 3+ concentration (0.00, 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.50, 1.00 mmol/L), and then germinated for several days. Al 3+ concentrations less than 0.1 mmol/L had little or no visible effect on the germination of seed and its physiological and biochemical characteristics. The germinating rate, index, vitality index, the activity of proteolytic enzyme and the content of free amino acid in germinating seeds were decreased significantly by Al 3+ , when Al 3+ concentrations more than 0.1 mmol/L. Medic sedlings were grown respectively for 2 weeks in nutrient solution with different Al 3+ concentration (0.00, 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.50, 1.00 mmol/L). The growth of seedlings was significantly inhibited and the content of chlorophll was deduced by Al 3+ , when Al 3+ concentration more than 0.1 mmol/L. Some times, the electrolyte leakage was increased. The growth of seedlings was stimulated slightly by Al 3+ , when Al 3+ concentration lower than 0.05 mmol/L. These results showed that Al 3+ inhibited the germination of seeds and the growth of seedlings by decreasing proteolytic enzyme activity in seeds and chlorophll content in leaves, and by increasing electrolyte leakages in seeds and seedlings of medic ras well.
