摘要
针对麻省理工学院(MIT)电气工程与计算机科学(EECS)系本科课程设置的新计划,对一些新增设的课程内容进行了简单介绍;对课程设置的修订进行了解读,说明了其修订的基本理念和目的,特别说明了新增设的两门导论课程的作用和特点;介绍了EECS系三个专业的特点及七个研究方向的选课方案,并对比了中国高等教育与MIT的差异,分析了从中得到的启示。
The present authors introduce the new courses included in the new curriculum of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science ( EECS ) in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , explain the revised parts of the curriculum, and elaborate on the basic idea and aim of the revision, especially on the roles and features of the two new introductory courses. The characteristics of three specialties in the Department of EECS and the course - selection schemes of seven research fields are presented, the difference between higher education in China and that in MIT is stated, and the enlightenment of the curriculum is discussed.
