摘要
互文性是语篇分析的一个重要概念,它不仅反映了不同文本之间的关系,而且反映了特定社会机构的话语秩序。文章以《纽约时报》2010年1至8月关于美对台军售这一热门话题的新闻报道作为语料,以英语新闻报道中的转述引语作为分析重点,从转述引语的消息来源、转述模式和转述动词三方面进行互文性分析,意在揭示语篇背后隐藏的意识形态意义,以帮助读者更好地解读英语新闻报道,提高批判性阅读的能力。
Intertextuality is a crucial concept in discourse analysis.It not only reflects the relations among different texts but also represents discourse order of specific social framework.Based on the news report by New York Times from January to August concerning U.S.arms sale to Taiwan,this essay focuses on the intertexual analysis of reported speeches from the perspectives of news resources,reporting modes and reporting verbs.The purpose of this study is to reveal ideology behind the texts and to improve readers’ critical reading ability.
