Characterization and Synthesis of Triptycene-2,3,6,7-Tetracarboxylic Dianhydride

摘要 首先,以邻二甲苯和邻苯二甲酸酐为起始原料,经Friedel-Crafts反应、环化和还原反应合成2,3-二甲基蒽;其次,将2,3-二甲基蒽和原位生成的4,5-二甲基苯炔经Diels-Alder反应生成2,3,6,7-四甲基三蝶烯.最后,经氧化、脱水得到具有独特三维刚性芳香结构的化合物——三蝶烯-2,3,6,7-四甲酸二酐.通过红外光谱和1H NMR谱对产品的结构进行表征,结果表明所得谱图与产品结构相符合. Firstly,O-xylene and phthalic anhydride underwent Friedel-Crafts reaction,cyclization and deoxidization reaction to afford 2,3-dimethylanthracene.Then,2,3-dimethylanthracene and 4,5-dimethylbenzyne generated in situ underwent a Diels-Alder reaction to get 2,3,6,7-tetramethyltriptycene,followed by oxidation reaction and dehydration to get a compound with unique three-dimensional rigid aromatic structure,triptycene-2,3,6,7-tetracarboxylic dianhydride.The structures of the products were characterized by IR and 1H NMR spectrum.
