Application of image fusion for ultrasound contrast harmonic imaging

摘要 针对造影谐波成像能够增强病灶,基波成像能够提供清晰的组织边界的特点,提出了利用相同频率下采集的超声造影基波和谐波图像进行Curvele图像融合的方法,增强谐波图像中的组织边缘。该方法首先对超声造影基波和谐波图像进行Curvelet变换,然后对于低频和高频系数分别采用不同的融合策略,获得组织边界和内部细节均清晰的超声图像,实现病灶区和组织边界的良好定位。实验结果验证了该方法的有效性。 A Curvelet based image fusion method is provided employing fundamental ultrasound contrast image with distinct tissue boundary information and corresponding harmonic ultrasound contrast image with distinct tissue lesion information acquired at the same frequency. Curvelet transform is applied to fundamental uhrasound contrast image and corresponding harmonic one at first in this method, then different fusion strategies are used for low frequency coefficient and high frequency coefficient to obtain ultrasound image with distinct tissue boundary and distinct inner details and to locate tissue lesion and tissue boundary. The experimental results show that this fusion method is promising.
