The authors introduced the importance of fresh-keeping packaging for edible fungi,summaried the effect of modified atmosphere packaging(MAP) technology on the quality of fresh edible fungi and the latest research progress worldwide in the domain.Guidance is provided for the packaging technique and material selection in the fresh-keeping packaging of edible fungi.
