摘要
我国公共图书馆事业要实现整体、全面的发展,需要管理方式的变革和创新。美国波士顿公共图书馆理事会制度作为管理方式上很好的范例,激发了公共图书馆的创新与活力。政府意识薄弱、相关法律缺失、公共图书馆理事会运作成效不明显、公共图书馆的思想惰性等阻碍了我国公共图书馆理事会制度的发展,应健全法治、完善理事会制度、变革图书馆理念、寻求社会力量的支持。
Chinese public libraries need the change and innovation of management approaches to achieve overall and comprehensive development.The board of trustees of Boston Public Library in America is a great example for management approaches,and it brings the public library new ideas and vitality.The weak consciousness of government,the lack of related legislation and obvious effect of the board of trustees of public libraries,the inert thought of public libraries obstruct the development of the board of trustees of public libraries in China.Therefore,the librarianship should strengthen the law,improve the system of the board of trustees,change the philosophy of libraries and look for the support of social force.
