摘要
采用光线跟踪算法实现高真感数控车削加工的图形生成,并以离线方式实现其加工过程仿真。在仿真过程中简化了Torance-Sparow光照模型;利用特征造型技术避免了繁复的布尔运算。根据凸多面体的约束条件及凸多面体裁剪的Cyrus-Beck算法,设计出射线与长方体求交的高效算法,该算法不仅执行效率高,而且还可类推至光线与任意凸多面体的求交与测试计算。
The ray tracing algorithm is adopted to complete the realistic graphical generation for a NC turning machining center and it’s processing simulation is realized in off line. In the simulation, on the basis of characteristics in NC processing,the Torrance Sparrow’s illumination model is simplified and the complicated Boolean operation is avoided using the feature model technology. Since the main task in the ray tracing is to calculate intersection points,a new method is designed based on a convex polyhedron constraint condition and the Cyrus Beck’s algorithm for line clipping. The method is not only efficient, but it can lead to the test and the intersection calculation between a ray and an arbitrary convex polyhedron. In the end, the possibility to generate an real time fidelity scenario based on ray tracing method is discussed.
