摘要
《不要温雅地步入那美好的夜晚》是被誉为40年代英国诗坛盟主的迪伦.托马斯在其父亲弥留之际作的一首哀诗。从语音、词汇语法、语义和衔接等层面分析了这首诗的文体特征,以及这些特征如何体现了诗歌的主题——狂风暴雨般地迎接生命的最后历程。
＂Don＇t Go Gentlely into That Good Night＂ was written by Dylan Thomas, the distinguished poet of the English Parnassus in 1940s,for his farther when he was dying. This paper analyses the stylistic features of this poem from the levels of phonology, lexical-grammar, semantics and cohesion, and how these features contribute to the theme：fight fiercely at the end of the life.
