摘要
法国社会学家布迪厄认为,语言中隐含了福柯所说的"话语权力",符号系统则是一套象征性统治工具。凭借这一"象征权力",西方文化获得了隐秘政治功能。本文从布迪厄的超越意识入手,分别介绍和阐述语言与象征权力、文化象征与社会系统、象征资本与经济决定等布迪厄借以建立其"象征权力"这个概念的重大文化与政治命题及其相互间的关联。
The French sociologist Bourdieu holds that language contains what Foucault calls 'the power of discourse',while the system of symbols is actually a system of control.By this 'symbolic power',western culture has gained an implicit political power.This essay starts from Bourdieu's pioneering stance,introducing the key factors including language and symbolic power,cultural symbol and social system,symbolic capital and economic determination on which Bourdieu establishes this significant cultural and political concept of 'symbolic power' and explores their connections.
