摘要
张经浩先生认为目前我国的翻译理论研究中存在厚外薄中、主次颠倒的现象,并认为外国的翻译理论并不比中国的翻译理论优越,因此中国学者应该以研究中国的翻译理论为主。张先生关于"主次颠倒"的论断缺乏充分的根据。研究外国的翻译理论是有意义的。我国翻译理论研究工作者应该以研究当代中、西方翻译理论和当今翻译实践的规律为主要任务;以研究早期的中外翻译理论和实践为次要任务。
Mr. Zhang Jinghao holds that many translation theorists in China have mistakenly treated western theories as of primary importance, and Chinese theories as of secondary importance. Mr. Zhang believes that foreign translation theories are not superior to Chinese ones, and therefore Chinese scholars should take studying Chinese translation theories as primary task. This paper argues with Mr. Zhang on what translation theorists of China should treat as primary task and what as secondary task in their research work.
