Preparation and Characterization of the Styrene-acrylic Soap-free Emulsion Adhesive with Core-shell Structure for Paper Coatings

摘要 采用种子乳液聚合法,以聚(丙烯酸丁酯/丙烯酸钠)[P(BA/AANa)]作为乳化剂,通过丙烯酸丁酯(BA)-苯乙烯(St)-甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)-丙烯酸(AA)四元共聚反应,制得了具有核壳结构的苯丙无皂乳液。讨论了过硫酸铵(APS)用量、十二烷基硫醇(DDM)用量对P(BA/AANa)聚合反应的影响及P(BA/AANa)、APS及AA用量对苯丙无皂核壳乳液聚合反应及性能的影响,并表征了苯丙无皂核壳乳液的结构。结果表明,当温度70℃,pH值7~8,m(BA+AA)∶m(H2O)=1∶4,m(BA)∶m(AA)=6∶4时,合成P(BA/AANa)的最优条件为:APS用量0.8%,DDM用量0.5%;当温度82℃,pH值8~9,m(BA)∶m(St)∶m(MMA)=25∶16∶14时,合成苯丙无皂核壳乳液的最优条件为:P(BA/AANa)用量3%,AA用量2%,APS用量0.8%。 The styrene-acrylic soap-free emulsion with core-shell structure was synthesized by seeded emulsion polymerization and by the polymerization of BA-St-MMA-AA, using poly (butyl acrylate/sodium acrylate) [ P (BA/AANa)] as an emulsifier. The effect of the amounts of initiator and DDM on oligomer polymerization reaction and the effect of the amounts of oligomer, initiator and functional monomer on emulsion polymerization reaction and emulsion performance were studied. The structure of emulsion was also characterized.
