摘要
关于词的多义现象,主要集中于对名词和动词的研究。文中拟从认知语言学的角度,运用隐喻这一认知工具,通过分析汉语中部分基本形容词隐喻性搭配,探讨汉语基本形容词多义现象,得出形容词词义由字面义和与搭配中名词相协调的附加义组成。字面义所表达的是说话人和听话人共有的基本经验。隐喻是属性概念抽象化的动因。
This paper aims to study the polysemy of Chinese basic adjectives through analyzing some metaphoric collocations of Chinese basic adjectives and argues that the meaning of a Chinese basic adjective in its metaphoric collocations is the composition of its literal meaning and some additional meanings that are compatible with the modified nouns and metaphor is the important motivation for its dynamic conceptualization.
