摘要
通过引入"技能偏好型"技术进步假说来分析中国的技术进步类型。技能偏好型技术进步是解释工资和教育收益率的一个重要原因,而且,最近的收入分配不公平也很可能是由于技能偏好型技术进步所造成的。讨论了技术进步对于就业的效应。要想实现经济的持续发展,需要避免技能偏好型技术进步所带来的缺点,充分利用中国无论是技能型劳动力或是缺乏技能型劳动力的优点。
The Skill Biased Technology Change hypothesis （SBTC） is introduced to identify Chinese technology progress. SBTC is an important reason to explain the behaviors of wage and returns to schooling. Furthermore, the recent increase in income inequality is most likely due to SBTC. The effect of technical change on jobs is also discussed. Finally, it is concludes that the key to a sustained growth in China is to avoid the drawbacks of SBTC and exploit the advantages of labor force both unskilled and skilled.
