摘要
以翔实史料为依据,从教学主体、教学内容、教学过程、教学管理和教学环境等方面,追溯和阐释了福州船政学堂外语教育教学的非常模式及其产生的非常成效。史实表明,福州船政学堂的外语教育教学体现了人本主义的教育理念,凸显语言社会建构的本质,是我国近现代外语教育史上的一次非常经验,其中蕴藏着一笔宝贵财富,值得我们挖掘、研究和借鉴。
On the basis of specific and accurate historical records, this paper tracks down and elaborates on the unusual mode of foreign language education in Fuzhou Navy School and its exceptional results from the perspectives of its teachers and students, teaching content, teaching process, teaching management and teaching environment. Foreign language education in Fouzhou Navy School, as historical facts reveal, is an extraordinary experience in the history of foreign language education in China, which embodies humanistic education and shows the nature of social construction of language, and in which there lies a historical treasure still left intact. This treasure is well worth our tapping, reviewing and drawing on.
