摘要
高职院校图书馆,为适应新的教学和科研的办学需求,在文献资源建设中加大图书的采购力度和数量。由于生均和评估的册书和评估的原因,常常会购买部分特价书。其中会遭遇出版社图书供应链中的"牛鞭效应"。文中论述了其对图书馆文献资源建设产生的影响和应对措施。
To satisfy the growing educational and research need, the Polytechnic library would regularly increase the amount of information within the system. In order to satisfy the growing needs and evaluation, Polytechnic library would also purchase discount books. While doing that, the library would encounter what is called the ＂Bullwimp effect＂. This paper discusses the consequence of such effect and how to deal with it.
