摘要
通过对西北大学英语和汉语言文学两个专业159名三年级大学生进行英、汉语阅读广度和数字工作记忆广度的测量,文章探讨了工作记忆广度理论中资源分享模型和任务转换假说的争议以及领域通用性和领域特异性的争议。结果不支持任务转换假说,支持资源分享模型。结果同时还表明工作记忆具有一定程度的领域通用性和领域特异性。
Through testing Chinese and English reading span of 159 juniors, this research aimed to validate hypotheses concerning the nature of individual difference tapped by working memory span tasks. The task-switching hypothesis was not supported by the fact that Chinese reading span was not influenced by the changing of sentence length. All data could be explained by resource-sharing model. The results also revealed both domain generality and domain specificity of working memory.
