摘要
在地形可视化领域中,如何对大规模地形的数据进行处理和可视化一直是一个关键问题.本文提出一种有效的实现方法,采用平均分割方法对大规模地形数据进行分割,其中重点解决地形块简化时相邻地形块间的边界处理问题;通过基于半边收缩和顶点分裂操作获得多分辨率TIN模型,并改进顶点分裂操作方法.实验结果表明,采用本方法可以实时生成大规模地形,提高了地形漫游的效率与可视化效果.
How to efficiently process and display a large-scale terrain data is the key problem in the field of terrain visualization. In this paper, it is presented an algorithm for implementing large-scale terrain multiresolution model. Large-scale terrain is divided up through average division method, among which the problem of neighboring terrain blocks boundary while terrain blocks simplifying are solved in focus: Multiresolution TIN model is obtained through half-edge collapse and vertex split, and the method of vertex split is improved. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can render large-scale terrain in real time, improve the efficiency and visual effects of terrain walkthrough.
