摘要
成语、谚语和歇后语都是常见的习语,是汉语语言文化中的精华与瑰宝,甚至是世界语言宝库中的一朵奇葩。若要将其准确无误地翻译给世界人民研读学习,需讲求一些方法。文章通过比较分析习语的文化内涵,归纳了直译、意译、套译等汉语习语的英译方法。
Chinese Phrases-idioms, proverbs and two-part allegorical sayings are the old members of Chinese language and culture. They have refined forms and profound meanings, so that they are considered the essence and treasure of our mother language, even the wonderful works in the world language bank. As Chinese language is very extensive and profound, let alone it＇s essence-Chinese phrases, so if we want to show them to the world people for their study correctly, we have to pay much attention to the way of translating. This article will make some comparison and analysis according to the characteristics of Chinese idioms, proverbs and two-part allegorical sayings respectively, and then make some conclusion on their translation methods practically.
