摘要
我国数学竞赛之所以出现争议纷呈的局面,其根本原因在于人们对"数学竞赛的教育性质是什么?"这个问题的认识存在分歧.数学竞赛不是"基础教育",更不能搞成"普及教育".数学竞赛应该针对极少数的数学英才,是一种英才教育.这种认识对于把握我国数学竞赛的发展方向和指导中小学数学竞赛的健康发展都具有重要的现实意义.
The reason which the situation of mathematical competition in china was dispute was the mistaken ideas on the educational nature of mathematical competition. The mathematical competition was not the elementary education, but was the education of outstanding ability, this view was very essential to the developing direction and healthily of mathematical competition in china.
