摘要
鲁迅和韦努蒂分别是东、西方异化翻译的倡导者。他们在不同的时代、不同的历史语境中提出异化翻译理论,因此他们的异化翻译观既相似又相别。他们的相似之处表现为两者的异化思想都受到了德国翻译家施德莱马赫的影响,两人都用异化思想指导实践;他们的相异之处则表现在两者的异化思想提出的背景及主要目的等方面有很大的不同,因而他们对异化思想的论述都带有各自时代的鲜明特征。
LU Xun and Laurence Venuti are respectively advocates of foreignism of translation in the East and West translation circle. Because of the different eras and historic contexts in which they were born, their translation theories on foreignizism differ from each other while they share something in common. Their similarity lies in the fact that their theories on foreignism came from the same source and their translating activities were both guided by their translation theories on foreignism. Their difference lies in the fact that their translation theories on foreignism came from different backgrounds and served different utmost purposes. Their statements on foreignism of translation are both possessed of distint features of their own eras.
