摘要
本文通过对"读者第一"还是"图书馆员第一"这一图书馆界讨论的问题的分析和研究,提出图书馆在内部管理上应实行"图书馆员第一",在外部服务上应采取"读者第一"的全新观点,同时对二者的关系进行了详细的阐释。
Reader first or worker first？ This is a hot topic in library field. Here after a study and analysis of this topic, the author presents a new view that worker first should be carried out inside the library, in its management work, while reader first outside the library, in its serving the society. Besides, the author also makes a detailed discussion on the relationship between the two choices.
