摘要
在种种翻译研究的途径中,有一种方法以其独特的研究对象及特别的理论关怀而在当代翻译研究中独树一帜,并具有越来越大的影响力。这种方法就是TAPs(think aloud protocols)翻译过程(translation process)研究(简称TAPs翻译研究)。
TAPs translation research is the application of think-aloud method to an empirical study of the translator' s mental process, and over the past 20 years,it has been using students primarily for its subjects.The present paper argues that the think-aloud method can not only be used to reconstruct the students' translation process,it can also be adopted in translator training to give students more direct and concrete guidance in translation practice and thus to establish a new 'interactive' mode of translation teaching in class.
