摘要
以PAE、苯乙烯为主要原料,在过硫酸铵-亚硫酸氢钠氧化还原引发体系下合成PAE-苯乙烯接枝共聚物乳液,并讨论了合成条件对乳液稳定性的影响及产物在造纸中的应用。作为瓦楞原纸增强剂时,添加1.0%(对绝干浆)的乳液,纸张的环压指数、挺度、抗张指数、耐破指数和耐折度可分别比空白样提高19.75%、27.02%、30.72%、32.06%和80%。最后通过扫描电镜分析了加入乳液前后纸页中纤维的交织情况,结果显示加入该聚合物乳液的成形纸页中的纤维结合更加紧密,说明其增强效果明显。
PAE-styrene grafting polymer emulsion was synthesized with PAE and styrene in (NHa)2S2O8-NaHSO3 initiator system. The effect of the reaction conditions on the stability of the emulsion and the use of the graft copolymer as strengthening agent in papermaking were discussed. Ring crush index, stiffness, tensile strength index, burst index and folding strength could be improved by 19.75%, 27.02%, 30.72%, 32.06% and 80% respectively when the dosage of the emulsion was 1% (based on oven dry pulp). The fiber intertexture of handsheets added with the emulsion or not was analyzed by SEM. The results shows that the fiber intertexture of handsheets treated with the emulsion is closer than its counterparts without the emulsion, as shown that it can improve the strength of handsheets.
