摘要
两种文化中存在相似的文化内涵称为文化认同性。通过大量颜色词的例子揭示出颜色词在英汉两种语言中文化内涵的相似性,有利于英汉两种语言之间的比较、交流、翻译和教学,对跨文化研究有积极、深远的意义。
Cultural similarity means similar cultural associations in two different cultures.This article reveals the cultural similarity between English and Chinese color terms on the basis of a large number of examples of color terms.Thereforem, the study will contribute to the comparison,communication,translation and teaching between the Chinese and English languages.It will have active and deep meaning for the intercultural study between the two languages.
