分析影响工作站系统性能的主要因素,描述提升PowerPC工作站性能的途径,介绍提升硬件配置、系统控制器性能调整、采用图形加速技术、采用Altivec技术等方法。
This paper describes the approach for improving the performance of PowerPC workstation. It focuses on four methods which include upgrading hardware, turning the performance of the system controller, using graphics accelerating technology and using Altivec technology.
