文章使用DS3231芯片为基于ARM处理器的Linux嵌入式系统提供独立的实时时钟,处理器从DS3231获取精确的时间信息。介绍了ARM处理器与实时时钟芯片的接口电路设计。介绍了嵌入式ARM处理器和12C总线的通讯协议,介绍了Linux-2.6的驱动程序结构,并在此基础上给出了实时时钟驱动程序在实现方法。
This paper describes a real time clock(RTC) design of embedded linux system base on ARM architecture, which uses DS3231. The RTC maintains accurate timekeeping for the system. The connecting circuit between the CPU and the DS3231 has been discussed. It also introduces the I2C bus and data /transmission protocol. The device driver of RTC writed in linux 2.6 has been discussed in detaile.
