摘要
针对目前中国学生的接受性词汇量远远大于产出性词汇量,致使学生交际能力低下的状况,从传统教学模式、词汇习得的广度和深度、加工与记忆以及母语与二语的差别等方面,分析了造成这种差异的原因,并提出了建设性的对策。
It is pointed out that the reason for Chinese students' low communicative competence is that Chinese students' receptive vocabulary far outnumbers their productive vocabulary. Causes for the disparity are analyzed from the following aspects: traditional teaching philosophy; the differences between the size of the acquired vocab- ulary and the depth of the understanding of the acquired vocabulary; the law of vocabulary processing and memo- ry; and the negative influence of the mother tongue. Some constructive solutions are put forward.
