摘要
英语语言习得研究表明,英语词汇可分为认识型词汇、活用性词汇、核心词汇,对认知型词汇的认识反映词汇习得的“量”,对活用性词汇的掌握反映词汇习得的“质”。目前我国大学英语教学词汇习得“质”的方面还存在较多问题,在强调扩大“量”的同时,决不能忽视“质”的标准,应加强研究,提高大学生词汇习得的量与质。
Researches into the English language acquisition show English vocabulary can be classified into cognitive vocabulary,flexible vocabulary and core vocabulary. The knowledge in understanding cognitive vocabulary reflects the'quantity'in vocabulary acquisition,while the grasp of the flexible vocabulary reflects the 'quality' in it. At present,there exist some problems in the 'quality' in vocabulary acquisition in English teaching. The standard of 'quality'cannot be neglected in enlarging the'quantity' in vocabulary.
