摘要
通过水溶性甘油环氧树脂(GE)对聚乙烯亚胺(PEI)进行改性,制备出了具有强反应活性的改性聚乙烯亚胺(PEI)纸张增强剂。考察了交联剂用量、改性物添加量、助留剂等因素对纸张强度的影响。并用SEM对其纸样微观结构进行了表征。实验结果表明,当w(GE)=17%、w(CPAM)=0.02%,改性PEI添加量为1%时,纸张湿强度达到22.84%,纸张耐折度提高10%以上。Zeta电位分析表明,当w(GE)=17%、改性PEI添加量为1%时,浆料电荷趋于零。SEM对纸样微观结构分析表明,纸张断裂是由纤维断裂引起的,为改性PEI可增加纤维间的结合强度提供了依据。
The modified polyethyleneimine (PEI) paper strengthening agent with strong reactivity was prepared through modification of polyethyleneimine (PEI) with water-soluble glycerine epoxy resin (GE). The effect of crosslinker dosage, modifier dosage and retention aid of cationic polyamide on paper strength were studied. The microstructure of the paper sheet was characterized with SEM. The experimental results indicated that when the dosage of w(GE) was 17%, w(CPAM) was 0.02% and w(modified PEI) was 1%, wet strength reached 22.84% and folding endurance was increased by more than 10%. Zeta potential analysis indicated that the electric charge of slurry system was close to zero when w(GE) was 17% and w(modified PEI) was 1%. SEM analysis indicated that paper fracture was caused by fiber breakage, providing an explanation for the fact that the modified PEI could increase interfiber-bonding strength.
