Roles of Nuclear Factor-κB on the Proliferation and Differentiation in Neural Stem Cells

摘要 核因子-κB(NF-κB)是一种可诱导的转录因子。在神经系统中,NF-κB由神经元、神经胶质细胞和神经干细胞表达。神经干细胞具有强大的增殖能力和多向分化潜能,在神经系统损伤的修复中起重要作用。近年来的研究发现,NF-κB信号系统参与了中枢神经系统神经干细胞增殖和分化的调控,通过对其机制的深入研究,有望为脑缺血、脑炎、神经变性等疾病的治疗开辟新的途径。文章对NF-κB在神经干细胞增殖和分化中的多重作用进行了综述。 Nuclear factor-KB (NF-KB) is an inducible transcription factor. In the nervous system, NF-KB is expressed by neurons, glial cells and neural stem cells. Neural stem cells have great proliferation ability and multiple differentiation potential. They play an important role in regeneration after nervous system injury. Recent studies have found that the NF-KB signal system involves in the regulation of neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation of central nervous system. It is hopeful to explore a new approach for the treatment of cerebral ischemia, encephalitis and neural degeneration through the further study on its mechanism. This article reviews the multiple effects of the NF-KB in neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation.
