摘要
借鉴许渊冲诗译"三美"理论为基本原则,就对联英译中"音、形、意"三美再现的翻译策略进行探究,提出在翻译过程中要以工对工,以偶对偶,意美为上,意在形先的翻译原则,从而使对联英译做到达意、求形和传神。
Applying Xu Yuanchong＇s translation theory of ＂beauty in sense, beauty in sound and beauty in form＂, this paper discusses the Chinese-English translation of Chinese couplets. Based on a brief analysis of the characteristics of Chinese couplets, this paper focuses on the ways to accurately reproduce the three beauties of Chinese couplets in English.
