摘要
隐喻是人类认知的工具,它深深根植于人类的语言、思维和文化中,理解隐喻不能脱离其所处的背景环境。由于历史文化环境的差异,中英文中关于爱情的隐喻也大相径庭。
Metaphor is an important cognitive tool is deeply rooted in people＇s language, thought and culture. Comprehension of metaphors can＇t stay away from the background where they exist. Due to differences in historical environment, love metaphors in both Chinese and English differ greatly.
