摘要
汉语中的"心"可以用来喻指很多抽象的概念。王文斌(2001)、齐振海(2003)和吴恩锋(2004)的研究表明,汉语中的"心"和英语的heart在隐喻认知方面具有很多相似的地方。运用汉英平行语料库,依据张建理(2005)给"心"的语义分类为翻译标准,考察汉语"心"在翻译过程中的认知模式是如何被转换到英语中去的,可以验证这样一个假设,即在翻译过程中译者会受到隐含在"心"中的认知模式的影响。
The Chinese ＂xin＂ （heart） can be metaphorically referred to a great number of abstract concepts. Researches conducted by Wang Wenbing （2001）, Qi Zhenhai （2003） and Wu Enfeng （2004） reveals the similarities between Chinese ＂xin＂ and English ＂heart＂. The author has investigated how the cognitive patterns embodied in Chinese ＂xin＂ （heart） are transferred into English in the process of translating, based on the semantic network of Chinese ＂xin＂ （heart） established by Zhang Jianli （2005）, working with the instances extracted from a Chinese-English parallel corpus. In addition, the author has tested the hypothesis by statistics that the translator gets the cultural influence during the process of translating.
