A pair of epimers was isolated from the leaves of Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer and were characterized as ginsenoside Ⅰ b(1) and majoroside F 2(2) respectively on the basis of spectral analysis and chemical evidence.Among them,compound (2)was the first reported known compound from the title plant,compound(1) was a new compound.
