摘要
服务是图书馆的宗旨,在图书馆面前,读者是平等的,因此,平等服务是图书馆精神的核心理念,是理论家们的共识,但在平等服务的同时,要看到读者的差异性,因而,图书馆也要进行差异服务。读者的差异是客观的存在,合理的差异服务符合平等原则,绝对平均主义在信息社会是行不通的。
The purpose of library is to offer services. Readers are equal in the library. Therefore, equal services are the core philosophy of the spirit of library, which is the consensus of theorists. But simultaneously, the difference of readers should be seen. Thus, libraries must also provide difference services. Difference of readers is objective. Reasonable difference services accords with the principle of equality, Absolute equalitarianism in the information society is not feasible.
