摘要
对公共图书馆的讨论与反思,必须突破行业与专业的视野,放置在中国整体社会大转型的背景中去认识。惟如此,才能更为真实地理解公共图书馆所面临的内、外双重困境。作者认为,应该从资源分配的非均衡性、体制分割与资源碎化、弱势部门的强大责任、现代技术的非人格化四个方面解读公共图书馆的市民精神困境,并指出弱势转换、社会公责担当、大众阅读指导是公共图书馆彰显市民精神的有效途径。
The discussion and reflection on the public library must break through the restrictions of profession and speciality,and we should put them into the great transformation background of the Chinese society to understand.Then we can have a true understanding about the internal and external troubles that the public library facing.We hold the belief that we should get across the citizens' spirit troubles of the public library from four aspects: nonequilibrium of the resource allocation,segmentation of the systems and subdivision of the resources,great responsibility of the inferior departments,and the nonpersonality characteristics of the modern technology.Finally,it is concluded that,for the public library,the efficient ways of showing citizens' spirits are the transformation of the inferior departments,the acceptance of the social responsibility,and the guidance of the public reading.
