摘要
文章针对我国外语教学中存在的重输入轻输出的现状,介绍了Swain的语言输出假设理论的功能和模式,就此提出输出理论对任务型语言教学的启示和采用任务型教学的必要性。
As to the general phenomenon oi emphasizing the language input and ignoring the output in our ioreign language teaching, this paper introduces Merrill Swain's Output Hypothesis in terms of its functions and model and proposes some implications of output theo- ries in task-based language teaching. Based on these, the paper points out that it is essential to adopt the task - based language teaching methods.
