A Comparison of the accuracy of working length determination between two electronic apex locators

摘要 目的比较临床常用的Neosono Co-pilot和JustyⅡ两种电子根尖定位仪测定根管工作长度的准确性。方法选取临床上拟行根管治疗的患牙182颗,共397条根管,先后用Neosono Co-pilot和JustyⅡ根尖定位仪测定根管长度,根据后一种方法测得的长度插扩大针拍摄定位X线片,测量扩大针尖至根尖的距离。结果结果Neoso-no Co-pilot距根尖1 mm内的准确率为93.2%,JustyⅡ的准确率为94.5%,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);两种定位仪对不同疾病患牙的准确性差异无统计学意义。结论两种电子根尖定位仪用作测量根管工作长度准确、简便而实用。 Objective To compare the accuracy of working length determination using two electronic apex locators: Neosono Co-pilot and Justy 11. Methods 397 canals in 182 teeth to do root canal therapy were elected. Working length determination was performed using two apex locators: Neosono Co-pilot and Justy 11. The actual tooth length was calculated by X-ray with a file which length was counted by the later locator. To evaluate the accuracy of both electronic apex locators, each electroni- cally determined distance was compared with the actual tooth length calclated by X-ray, and the data analyzed using the SPSS 12. 0 for windows and the chi-square test. Results The accuracy of Neosono Co-pilot was 93.2% and Justy 11 was 94. 5%. There was no statistically significant difference between two electronic apex locators and there was no statistically significant difference among working length determination of different diseases using two electronic apex locators. Conclusion The practice of using these two electronic apex locators in determination of working length is useful and reliable.
