摘要
广州方言中的常用词不少是古语词的承传。在语言发展的过程中,古代汉语中曾经是很常用的词语,在现代共同语里发生了变化,有的只保留在书面语中,有些则走向消亡,当然它们也有可能还存留在方言里。文章考释了至今仍然活跃在粤方言口语词里的部分古汉语词。
Classical Chinese words refer to the words passed down directly from ancient Chinese language. In the process of language development, some words that had been common in classical Chinese have sustained changes in modern language; some have remained in written form while some have extinguished. Nevertheless, they may still exist in some dialects, for example, many of the commonly used words still exist in Cantonese. The classical Chinese words studied in this paper are still actively used in spoken Cantonese as polysemous words with remarkable local features.
