摘要
CALL是现代信息技术与传统外语教学整合的产物。它借助于计算机强大的信息处理功能,帮助、模拟抑或替代教师执行部分外语教学任务,在改进教学质量和提升整体教学效率的同时,不仅从外在形式和具体手段的运用上改变了传统外语教学,更是从教学理念、培养目标、课程设计和知识传递的过程等更深层面,赋予传统外语教学以全新的内涵。如何基于CALL层面对教师角色、教育资源、课程设计、教学方法进行整合创新,是广大英语教育工作者必须进行积极探索的新的课题。
Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is the product of the integration of the modern information technology and the traditional foreign language teaching. With the help of the powerful function of processing information, it assists, simulates and substitutes some roles of the teacher. It can not only change the traditional foreign language teaching in external forms and specific means, but also can give some new connotations to it in many more aspects, such as teaching ideas, training objectives, curriculum designs and knowledge transmission, etc. , besides, it can help to increase the teaching quality and teaching efficiency. This paper, based on the CALL, aims to reveal systematically some problems like teachers' roles, teaching resources, curriculum design and teaching methods.
