摘要
天文历法在宋与西夏的军事冲突、交聘往来中起着重要作用,他们认为异常天象是上天意志的表达,这种观念深刻地影响着双方的军事决策与军事行动;历法颁赐是治权实现的重要标志,接受或拒绝宋的颁历是西夏承认或否认宋统治权力及衡量宋夏关系的一个重要指标。从星占、历法中我们可以透视宋夏民族关系诸多通常被人忽略的细节。
Astrology and calendar play an important role in diplomacy and war between Song and Tangut. Astrological abnormality influences their military decision process of war. The promulgation of calendar is a sign of realization of ruling. Reception or refusal of Song calendar manifests Tangut＇ s recognition or denial of suzerainty of Song. It is a standard to judge the relation between Song and Tangut. Therefore, we can know some details of national relations between Song dynasty and Tangut then through the study of astrology and calendar.
