摘要
该文以汉代到唐代的历法争论为中心 ,分析了引起历法争论和改革的原因 ,探讨了影响和决定历法争论双方胜负的主要因素。指出历法改革不是一项现代意义上的纯粹的科学活动 ,而是一项具有古代中国特色的文化和政治活动。
The paper concentrates on the calendarial debates and reforms from Han to Tang Dynasty. Reasons for the calendarial debates and reforms are analyzed, and factors determining who won the debates are discussed. It is pointed out that these calendarial reforms are not pure scientific activities in the modern sense but cultural and political movements with ancient Chinese characteristics.
