托马斯.莫尔的思想和创作深受基督教及其经典圣经的影响。在他的代表作《乌托邦》中,随处可见圣经原型影响的痕迹。其中既有若隐若现的圣经意象,亦有极其相似的圣经原型人物,更多的是对圣经话语的直接或间接的引用。
The thoughts and works of Thomas More are deeply influenced by Christianity and its scriptures. His representative work Utopia contains abundant traces of the influence from the biblical archetypes. There are not only vague biblical images, very similar biblical archetypal characters, but also direct and indirect quotations from the Biblical discourse.
