摘要
本文由对哈代作品《德伯家的苔丝》中圣经意象、典故及人物形象的探讨来分析伟大现实主义作家托马斯.哈代的创作思想及小说对十九世纪后期受到工业革命冲击的英国农村生活及农民遭遇的真实再现。
By inquiring into the biblical images, allusions and biblical characters used in Thomas Hardy’s novel Tess of the D’urbervilles, this thesis is meant to analyze Thomas Hardy’s ideas which guide his literary creation and his capturing of miserable life of British farmers in late 19th century, which had been influenced by the industrial revolution.
