摘要
论述了中英两种语言的差异,指出思维离不开语言,同时也支配着语言。不同的文化背景、不同的地域环境造就不同的思维方式,中英思维方式之间存在巨大差异,思维方式的差异导致了语言的差异。通过具体例句说明翻译本质上是思维方式的转换。
The paper focuses on the difference between English and Chinese. Thinking depends on language, and dominates language as well. Owning to the difference in cultural background and geographical environment, modes of thinking vary. There is big difference between Chinese thinking mode and English thinking mode. The differences between thinking modes lead to language differences. Essentially speaking, translation is the transformation of different thinking modes.
